CSBA, Japan’s Aomori SHS Launch International Learning Partnership

Borders fade as classrooms connect! Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod and Aomori Senior High School in Japan have officially launched their academic partnership through an Online Intercultural Interaction (OII), following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding last August.

The virtual exchange brought together 24 Japanese students and 10 CSAB Senior High School students for meaningful cross-cultural conversations and the initial planning of collaborative inquiry-based projects.

Beyond cultural sharing, the partnerships opens opportunities for students to learn across borders, appreciate diverse perspectives, and develop a deeper sense of global citizenship.

Marking the first of a series of planned activities for students and faculty members, the partnership highlights CSAB’s commitment to internationalization and transformative learning, connecting Augustinian education with a wider world of ideas, cultures, and possibilities.

Viva, San Agustin!
