In response to the call to further intensify the services of the Office of the Vice President for Augustinian Formation, Religious Affairs, and Mission (VPAFRAM), CSAB has expanded the office to provide a more conducive, functional, and inclusive space for formation, collaboration, and faith enrichment.
More than a physical improvement, the office expansion reflects CSAB’s continuing commitment to the Augustinian tradition of forming both the heart and the mind — Virtus et Scientia. The expanded office houses the Office of the Vice President for AFRAM, the Campus Ministry, and the Catechetical Office, strengthening coordination among the units responsible for advancing Augustinian formation and religious life within the campus community.
Complementing the recent enhancement of the Theology curriculum, the office also serves as a hub for Professional Learning Community (PLC) sessions among Theology and Religion teachers and faculty members. This dedicated space fosters collegial dialogue, collaborative lesson planning, reflective practice, and the sharing of effective teaching strategies to ensure that religious education remains relevant, meaningful, and responsive to the needs of Augustinian learners.
Equally significant is CSAB’s strengthened commitment to interfaith dialogue and inclusion. Recognizing the diverse religious backgrounds of its students, the institution provides non-Catholic students with a dedicated space where they can freely express, nurture, and deepen their faith in an environment marked by respect, understanding, and acceptance.
Through this office expansion and renovation, VPAFRAM reinforces its role in advancing CSAB’s mission of holistic education. All Augustinian formators and learners are warmly invited to visit the newly improved VPAFRAM Office — a space dedicated to nurturing the heart, enriching the mind, and strengthening the Augustinian mission.
VIVA, SAN AGUSTIN!
