Eighty-six (86) BSTM and BSHM students of Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod step beyond the classroom and aboard MV 2GO Maligaya at BREDCO Port, Bacolod City, for a firsthand 2GO Vessel Familiarization Experience.
The industry immersion brings students closer to the realities of the tourism and hospitality industry as they explore passenger services, hospitality operations, guest experience, safety and security, and maritime tourism. More than a familiarization tour, the experience strengthens Augustinian HTM students’ competence, confidence, and industry awareness, preparing them to navigate a dynamic and globally competitive tourism and hospitality landscape.
The activity is facilitated by Ms. Mary Grace P. Gonzales, MITHM, Tourism Management Program Head, together with Ms. Regine Mae M. Ramos and Ma. Rona C. Jalandoni, HTM faculty members.
