Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod and NEGROSNEX Network Corporation have formally joined forces through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing an academic partnership dedicated to documenting, preserving, and bringing the rich history, arts, and traditions of Negros into the classroom.
At the heart of the collaboration is CSAB’s Bachelor of Culture and the Arts (BCAED) program under the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Education (CLASE), which will serve as the primary academic partner in the initiative.
Under the agreement, NEGROSNEX will provide the institution with access to digital media assets from the Negros Season of Culture, including published video content and web articles, for non-commercial and instructional purposes. These resources will serve as valuable learning materials that connect students directly with the cultural narratives and creative heritage of Negros.
Faculty and students will actively collaborate in developing instructional materials and integrating Negrense heritage into the academic curriculum, creating meaningful connections between digital storytelling, cultural education, and community identity.
Through this partnership, CSAB and NEGROSNEX seek to ensure that the stories, traditions, and creative expressions of Negros are not only preserved—but learned, lived, and carried forward by the next generation.
