Researchers from Colegio San Agustin–Bacolod (CSAB) participated in the “From Manuscript to Publication: A 3-Day Intensive Training-Workshop on AI-Assisted Academic Writing and Journal Publication” held on April 27–29, 2026 at the 4th Floor Function Hall, Research Building 1, West Visayas State University, La Paz, Iloilo City.
Organized by the University Research and Development Center (URDC), the workshop provided participants with valuable insights and practical skills in academic writing, journal publication, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research. Distinguished speakers included Dr. Bernice Mae Yu Jeco-Espaldon, who discussed writing research manuscripts assisted by AI; Dr. Ryan Michael F. Oducado, who shared tips on successful research publication and selecting the right journal; and Dr. Aris C. Larroder, who guided participants in preparing manuscript sections, particularly the Introduction and Methods.
Through participation in this intensive training-workshop, CSAB researchers continue to strengthen their research competencies, enhance scholarly productivity, and contribute to the institution’s pursuit of academic excellence and innovation.
