CSAB proudly opened the School Hour Segment of the 26th Provincial Tourism Week Celebration on September 9, 2026, at the Activity Center of Ayala Malls Capitol Central, showcasing the talent, creativity, and professional excellence of its Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, and selected IT students.
Organized by the Negros Occidental Tourism Division, the 26th Provincial Tourism Week is being celebrated from September 8–12, 2026, under the theme “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism.” Running from September 9–12, the School Hour Segment provides participating schools with a dynamic platform to demonstrate how education, culture, technology, and innovation are transforming the tourism landscape.
As the opening school, CSAB delivered a vibrant showcase of student talent and competencies through dance, music, cultural presentations, uniform and attire modeling, flairtending, tour guiding, and technology-driven tourism presentations.
More than a showcase of performance, the program reflected the students’ confidence, creativity, cultural awareness, digital readiness, communication skills, and emerging professional competencies as future tourism and hospitality practitioners.
The celebration was graced by Fr. Manuel M. Vergara, O.S.A., CABECS College Dean; Louie C. Pagdato, MBA, Associate Dean; Mary Grace P. Gonzales, MITHM, Tourism Program Head; Reymark D. Barbas, MSHM, Hospitality Program Head; and Mr. Raymond Alunan Bayot, OIC of the Negros Occidental Tourism Division.
CSAB extends its heartfelt appreciation to the students, faculty members, administrators, partners, and everyone behind the scenes whose dedication and teamwork made this opening presentation a meaningful and memorable celebration.
As the first school to take the stage, CSAB proudly set the tone for a week celebrating culture, innovation, and tourism excellence—demonstrating that the future of tourism belongs to learners who are culturally grounded, digitally ready, globally oriented, and prepared to lead.
