CSAB Nursing Program Pioneers Digital Healthcare Training Through Telehealth and Electronic Health Records Exposure

VIVA, SAN AGUSTIN! Healthcare is changing rapidly, and today’s nurses are expected to be ready to work in technology-driven healthcare environments.

To prepare its future nurses for this evolving landscape, CSAB has introduced Telehealth Electronic Health Records (EHR) clinical exposure for its Level 4 Nursing students through its affiliation with Premium Care Solutions Philippines Inc.

Implemented through scheduled group rotations, the program gives student-nurses hands-on experience in electronic health records, telehealth communication, clinical documentation, and data privacy. Supervised by CSAB’s specially trained clinical instructors, student-nurses develop the knowledge and skills needed for digital healthcare, health information management, and virtual patient care.

The first group to complete the Telehealth EHR rotation included Nash Acub, Cody RJ Alameda, Bianca Beatriz Balmeo, Trixia Lyn Belonio, Jhazeryl Bulacan, Belle Marie Calderon, Keith Fridalyn Joy Ceballos, Jaila Claro, Shaline Decio, and Ma. Andrea Montalvo. The succeeding groups of graduating nursing students will undergo the same clinical exposure in the coming weeks.

Through curricular innovations like this, CSAB continues to prepare future-ready Augustinian nurses who are not only clinically competent but also equipped with the digital skills needed in today’s healthcare environment.

The Nursing Program of the College of Health and Allied Professions (CHAP) extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. John Iver Solidum, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Premium Care Solutions Philippines Inc., for his invaluable support and partnership in providing this innovative learning experience for our nursing students.

Viva, Augustinian Nurses! Viva, San Agustin!
