Sikhay 2026 Research Proposal Submission Update

The Research and Publications Office (RPO) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the submission period for Sikhay 2026, having received seven (7) research proposals from faculty researchers across the institution.

The submitted proposals will now undergo a comprehensive review and evaluation process by the Research Grant Application Eligibility Committee(RGAEC). Each proposal will be assessed based on its relevance to the institutional research agenda, scholarly merit, methodological rigor, feasibility, and potential contribution to knowledge and community development.

The list of accepted research proposals will be officially announced on July 30, 2026. Proponents of accepted proposals will be invited to present and defend their studies during Sikhay 2: Augustinian Dialogue and Research Proposal Review, which will be held in August 2026.

Sikhay serves as an institutional platform for scholarly dialogue, constructive peer feedback, and the continuous enhancement of research quality. Through this initiative, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod reinforces its commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture rooted in academic excellence, innovation, and the Augustinian pursuit of truth.

The RPO extends its sincere appreciation to all faculty researchers who submitted their proposals and looks forward to engaging with the selected proponents during Sikhay 2: Augustinian Dialogue and Research Proposal Review.
