The Teacher’s Certificate Program (TCP) of Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod is designed to equip such individuals with the pedagogical knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions required for effective teaching. This program is conceptually aligned with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and relevant policies such as CHED Memorandum Order No. 75 Series of 2017 and the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers used by the Department of Education.
This program allows individuals with bachelor’s degrees in other fields (e.g., engineering, arts, science, IT) to fulfill the 18-unit professional education requirement mandated by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
