Seminar on Healthful Leadership, Child Protection, and Pertinent Laws Empowers Administrators and Managers at CSA-B

Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod held a seminar on “Healthful Leadership and Management, Paradigm Shift in Child Safety, and Other Pertinent School Laws” on February 8, 2024. Attended by religious and lay administrators and middle-level managers of the institution, the seminar aimed to equip Augustinian leaders with essential knowledge and skills to foster positive leadership practices, and ensure the holistic well-being and safety of students within the CSAB community.

Distinguished resource speakers, Dr. Grace Marie David, RGC, Director of the Guidance and Testing Center, and Dr. Karen Zamora, JD, Director of Human Resource and Development Office, facilitated dynamic sessions such as case analyses, self-perception surveys, and group dynamics fostering engaging discussions and providing invaluable insights in education, child protection, and legal compliance. At the core of the professional learning sessions, the participants delved into discussions on promoting healthful leadership practices, cultivating a safe and nurturing environment for students, and understanding the pertinent laws and regulations governing child protection within educational settings.

Rev. Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, CSAB’s President, expressed his enthusiasm for the seminar’s outcomes, emphasizing that the said mentoring /coaching development session underscores CSAB’s commitment to fostering a culture of healthful leadership and ensuring the utmost safety and protection of its students. Fr. Dizon further stated that by equipping the school’s administrators and middle-level managers with the necessary knowledge and skills in leadership and management, CSAB is better positioned to uphold its responsibility and commitment in providing a conducive learning environment for every Augustinian.
