Proud Working Scholar Graduate Donates New Basketball Hoop System to CSA-B Gym

Lijani Limbang-Nakatani, a proud working scholar graduate of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod has generously donated a Universal portable collapsible basketball hoop system to the school’s gymnasium.

Lijani graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce in 2000. Her time at CSA-B was marked by her dedication to both her studies and responsibilities as a working scholar. As the youngest of ten siblings, she proudly became her family’s first college graduate.

This generous donation not only promises improved sports facilities for students but also highlights the lasting impact of the school’s working scholar program, now known as Grant-Aid for Student Assistants.

The turnover ceremony was held on July 04, attended by the new School President, Fr. Jose Rene C. Delariarte, O.S.A., friar-administrators, alumni association officers, and Lijani’s family, mentors, and friends.

Lijani now lives in Japan with her family and has founded RS English Dynamics, a preschool in Osaka. She is a strong advocate for education and works on community projects in the Philippines. She served as the commencement speaker at the college graduation in 2023, and recently, she was a speaker at TEDx Ayala Avenue Women and led an outreach program in Murcia, Negros Occidental, with her daughter, Izumi Nakatani.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lijani for her generosity and contribution, as well as to all our alumni who have been supporting us in their own ways. ❤️💛
