Rev. Fr. Jose Rene C. Delariarte, OSA, the newly appointed School President of Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod (CSAB) has begun his term with a series of “meet and greet” sessions across all departments of the institution.
Non-Teaching Personnel
In the series of sessions with the school personnel, Fr. Bong, as he is fondly called, emphasizes the importance of dialogue and consultation. By engaging in meaningful discussions with every member of the school community, from faculty and staff to administrative personnel and support workers, the new President has shown a deep commitment to understanding the unique perspectives and needs of each sector, fostering a sense of belonging among CSAB’s workforce.

Drawing from the insights and feedback gathered during these sessions, Fr. Bong is prepared to craft his direction in alignment with the needs and aspirations of the school community. “Your input is invaluable, as your experiences and insights are crucial in shaping a future that we can all be proud of. It is through your commitment and cooperation that we can achieve our shared goals,” Fr. Bong emphasized during the sessions.

Recognizing the importance of unity and collective effort, Fr. Bong has also solicited the full support and cooperation of the entire school community. He stressed that the success of the CSAB’s plans and priorities hinges on the active participation and unwavering support of its members. By fostering a collaborative mindset, he hopes to build a strong, cohesive educative community rooted in prayer, and capable of fostering resilience and sustaining excellence amid challenges.

Fr. Bong’s initial steps as School President set a tone of collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility. As he moves forward with the development of his strategic plans, it is evident that the school is entering a new chapter marked by a collective commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence. With Fr. Bong’s leadership, the future looks promising for CSAB under his guidance.
College of Health and Allied Professions
Fr. Delariarte is set to be formally installed as the 17th School President of CSAB by the Prior Provincial, Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Batayola, OSA, on August 15, 2024, after the Red Mass, which will be attended by the entire Community, friends, benefactors, partners, and other stakeholders.
