Taipei City, Taiwan – The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University International Health Program (NYCU IHP) hosted CSA-Bacolod for a program visit on October 24.
With the program’s focus on addressing global public health issues, Dr. Yi-Fang Chaung, IHP Director, highlighted the program’s hallmark of bringing together international students, fostering an environment where active learning and experience sharing thrive among individuals from various cultural and academic backgrounds.
Furthermore, our pharmacy faculty and students presented their research studies accepted for the 2023 29th Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) Congress. Dr. Chaung commended their work for aligning with NYCU IHP’s public health focus and discussed potential collaborations, emphasizing the importance of sharing research and knowledge between the two institutions as a promising starting point.
This visit was made possible thanks to the support of our fellow Filipinos pursuing their Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at IHP.
