CSAB’s Fr. Delariarte Leads Insightful Symposium on Aesthetic Genius

Rev. Fr. Jose Rene C. Delariarte, OSA, President of CSAB, served as the distinguished resource person at a philosophical symposium exploring the delicate balance between creative freedom and disciplined form.

Themed “Reditus Affirmed and Restrained: The Aesthetic Genius,” the symposium delved into the philosophical insights of Arthur Schopenhauer’s The World as Will and Representation and Friedrich Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy, offering a profound discourse on the philosophical discipline.

Held on March 20, 2025, at the FLD 5th Floor of the University of San Agustin, the event brought together philosophy professors, scholars, students, and seminarians for a rich intellectual exchange.

Organized by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Global Relations and the Center for Heritage and Indigenous Culture, in collaboration with Societas Philosophorum, the symposium highlighted Fr. Delariarte’s depth of expertise in philosophy. As a distinguished figure in the field, he once again demonstrated his scholarly brilliance and unwavering commitment to philosophical inquiry.
