Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Pharmacy Faculty and Students joined the opening program of 2023 29th Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) in Taiwan.
During the first day of the conference, they participated in the industry and hospital tour at Tri-Service General Hospital as arranged by the organizing committee. Tri-Service General Hospital is the largest military hospital in Taiwan that has a 2000-bed capacity.
Participants who took part of the tour at Tri-Service General Hospital were introduced to the different sections of the pharmacy department such as the dispensing area, clinical services, research on investigational drug, and compounding of cancer drugs and TPN.
Other delegates were toured to other industrial establishments and hospital pharmacies such as Taipei Veterans General Hospital, New Taipei Municipal Tucheng Hospital, KO DA Pharmaceutical Company, and China Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company.
The students and faculty will be presenting their research studies through poster and oral presentation, respectively.
