Dr. Eliand Rey Soliman, Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business Education, and Computer Studies, has been selected as one of the peer-reviewers for the reputable international research journal, Economics. With a focus on mathematical economic theory, particularly microeconomics, the journal maintains stringent peer-review standards to uphold scholarly excellence. Dr. Soliman joins a select group of 40 experts spanning Asia, North and South America, Africa, and Europe, where he assesses the scientific rigor of research manuscripts from international scholars.
Dr. Randdie Cuelo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, also takes pride in his role as a peer-reviewer for local research journals, aimed at nurturing the research culture within the local community. Since 2019, he has been evaluating scholarly works published in local journals including the Basic Education Research Journal (BERJ) by the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Bacolod City, the STI-WNU Kalamboan & Busilak Research Journal, LCCB Development Education Journal, the Augustinian Journal from the University of San Agustin, and CSAB’s Ad Sapientiam. Dr. Cuelo’s dedication to research is evident through his lifetime membership in the Professional Organization of Researchers and Educators of the Philippines (POREP).
