CSA-B National Service Training Program (NSTP), in partnership with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Negros Occidental, proudly launched the advocacy campaign “Be a H.E.R.O.! Abyan Kontra Droga” on March 29, 2025. H.E.R.O. – Halongi ang Kabuhi, maging Ehemplo kag Responsable nga AgOstino.
This impactful campaign centers on “Drug Abuse and Prevention” through education, highlighting the truth about illegal drugs and empowering the youth to take a stand.
The launch was graced by the esteemed presence of PDEA Provincial Officer, Investigation Agent V, David Mark D. Maramba, along with Intelligence Officer I, Niña Lyn J. Aloquina, and the dedicated PDEA team. The day began with an Opening Ceremony and the Inauguration of the “Signature Wall” at the Foyer, symbolizing solidarity against drug abuse.
The activities continued with: Poster Making and Acrylic T-Shirt Design Contest showcasing the theme “Kolor sa Pagbag-o.” Symposium and Talk Show – “Bukas nga Huna-huna” – providing invaluable insights into the effects of illegal drugs on oneself, family, and community.
This collaborative initiative aims to educate and inspire the youth to prevent drug abuse, understand its consequences, and make informed decisions to foster a healthier, drug-free future. Together, let’s stand as HEROES for change!
