Basic Education Department
The Basic Education Department is composed of the Pre-school, Primary and Secondary education programs; it is K-12 compliant. The Secondary education area is further composed of the Junior High School and the Senior High School programs. The Basic Education Department is the oldest educational unit in CSA-B, tracing its roots from the Casanova School founded by Doña Soledad Locsin which was acquired by the Augustinians in 1962. At that time, it offered Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School education. Our Primary and Secondary Education programs are Level III PAASCU-accredited.

Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod Basic Education Department envisions a community of life-long learners who are equipped with the academic competence and Christian values necessary to succeed the 21st century learning.

The Basic Education Department is committed to establish and maintain a community of learners among the students, community and school where relevant, developmentally appropriate and engaging activities mold students to become critical thinkers, decision makers, academic achievers and responsible citizens.
