BSAIS alumna Princess Ella A. Olmilla was crowned as Miss Bacolod Masskara 2024 held at the USLS Coliseum last October 19, 2024.
Olmilla bested 14 other candidates vying for the Sapphire crown. In addition, BED SHS Department alumna Akeisha Nicole Nuarin was named 1st runner up while Cindy Valencia was declared 2nd runner up, respectively.
Olmilla was able to clinch the Best Swimwear, Best in Evening Gown, Miss Merczi, Miss YCA Botanical, Miss YKU Construction, Miss Masskara Chicken Inasal, Miss Bingo Plus, Miss Mendez Radiant Smile, Miss Bacolod JO Travel & Tours Inc., and Miss SM Store minor and corporate awards. Olmilla was hailed as the first Miss San Agustin 2022, and was able to win the Mutya ng NOPSSCEA 2023 and Miss Mansilingan 2023 titles, to name a few.
The pageant was graced by various distinguished guests including Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, Congressman Greg Gasataya, former Mayor Monico Puentevella, Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez, Bacolod City Councilors, Bacolod Masskara Festival Chairman Jojie Dingcong and Bacolod Yuhum Foundation officials.
