Last Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Purok Villagracia community gathered for Advent Recollection led by Fr. Raymundo Edsel T. Alcayaga, OSA. The day was filled with prayer, reflection, and joy as Fr. Alcayaga reminded everyone of the true essence of Advent: preparing our hearts for the coming and birth of Jesus Christ.
While excitement for gifts and food is natural, he emphasized that a spiritually prepared heart makes Christmas even merrier.
The elderly attendees had a wonderful time with a short game led by Fr. Alcayaga, and everyone went home with blessed rosaries as gifts, symbolizing faith and unity.
