Apart from recently being the third top performing school in the Philippines during the November 2024 Pharmacist Licensure Exam, CSA-B celebrates yet another significant achievement. Charles Lawrence B. Benares, a first-year Medical Technology student, proudly represented Negros Occidental and the CSA-B community by securing 3rd place in the highly competitive regional round of the 28th Philippine Statistics Quiz.
Out of 18 contestants representing six provinces across Western Visayas, Charles showcased his academic prowess, emerging as one of the top three winners in the event held on November 8 in Iloilo City. Mentored by his coach, Mr. Eduardo Bacodio, Charles faced tough competition from standout participants, including those from the University of the Philippines Miag-ao and the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas.
Although Charles’ journey concludes at the regional level, we are still proud that Negros Occidental, represented by the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, will go on to represent Western Visayas at the national level in December in Manila.
